Ethical Craftswomenship
At Naia Heirlooms, sustainability is more than a practice. It is a way of creating with care, mindfulness, and respect for the earth.
I believe that jewellery should be as responsible as it is beautiful, which is why each piece is handcrafted using ethically sourced gemstones, Australian mined silver and gold, and recycled precious metals. Every design is made by hand, ensuring it is both a one of a kind work of art and a reflection of my deep commitment to ethical craftsmanship.
The materials I use are carefully chosen to reduce environmental impact and support responsible production. I work closely with trusted suppliers who share these values, ensuring every step of the process honours the land that inspires it:
- Precious Metal Sustainability
- Casting and Recycling Metals
- Packaging Sustainability
- Our opals are sourced directly from several miners located in Coober Pedy, South Australia. When you purchase my pieces, you are directly supporting multi-generation small family businesses located in remote Australian towns.
- Other gemstones are sourced directly from Australian businesses that are are members of prestigious organisations and associations within the gemstone and jewellery industry both in Australia and Internationally.
Sustainability extends beyond my materials to my packaging and daily studio practices. I use recyclable eco mailers and consciously minimise waste in production. Each detail, from the way your jewellery is wrapped to the metals and stones that form it, is chosen with intention and respect for the world we share.
I am proud to have spent years building relationships with suppliers who value transparency, ethics, and sustainability at every stage of the process. When you wear a piece from Naia Heirlooms, you can feel confident knowing it was made with care for both people and planet, slow crafted with love, intention, and integrity.
